Daily Check-in Status Add On

Learn what this add on provides and how to enable and configure the settings of this add on.

The Daily Check-in Status is found on the Add-ons page in the left navigation bar of the admin desktop portal.

The team at SaferMe can enable the add on by request. Email support@safer.me or enable the Daily Check-in Add-on in the admin panel.

Turning it off - disable the add on by selecting the add-on in the Add-ons tab and pressing Remove Add-on in the top right corner.

What happens when the Daily Check-in Add-on is disabled?

 

When the Daily Check-in Add-on is disabled the channel will remain in the organization but the add on functionality will be disabled. The existing data, if any, can be accessed via the channels page in the admin panel. Any reports that exist on this channel will still be accessible unless SaferMe is instructed to delete the data.

Configuration

Once enabled, the screen will land on the first tab 'Notifications'. 

Notifications

 

Default = off 

Notifications for someone reporting that they are 'unwell'. These notifications must be manually turned on in order for the chosen person to receive task assignment notifications. 

 

The default assignee is the organization owner unless changed to a manager or supervisor.

 

NOTIFCATIONS GIG

 

Notifications for someone reporting that they are 'unable to work'. These notifications must be manually turned on in order for the chosen person (default organization owner unless changed to a manager or supervisor) to receive task assignment notifications. 

 

Note* Only an organization Owner, Admins or Supervisors will appear in the drop down to be selected as an assignee. We advise for the Organization Owner or Supervisor to be the assignee. 

 

The selected person will require having their email and push notifications enabled so that they receive task assignments.

General

 

The general tab allows for configuration of what the end user sees when they fill out their Daily Check In report. 

The question asked is editable and the choice of answers are editable. There are three answer choices each with a different colour. 

 

Red represents 'Unable To Work'

Yellow represents 'Unwell'

Green represents 'Feeling Good'

 

GENERAL TAB

 

Once configured press 'Save Changes'

 

Once the members have been added to the Daily Check In channel they can start making reports. Each time someone selects either the Red or Yellow option then a task will be created on that report and automatically assigned to the selected person (i.e. the organization owner, manager or supervisor).

The task assignee can find the task either on the report itself of the 'Your Tasks' tab. They will also be sent a notification. 

 

If someone submits a report with an incorrect selection, they can submit another form straight away with the correct selection. This will override the previous report. 

 

All green reports will refresh after they are 24 hours old and display as 'Not Submitted'. The orgnization admin can see each day who hasn't submitted a report that day. All red and yellow reports will remain these colours until a green report is submitted.
