Learn about features within the settings page of the SaferMe mobile app like safety bubble and permissions.
How to get there
Log in to the SaferMe mobile app. Click the profile icon on the top right of the map/home screen. This will open the profile screen, from here click the cog wheel on the top right of the screen to open settings.
Manage location permissions for the SaferMe app by clicking open 'Location'. It will open the location permissions of the device directly.
Manage bluetooth permissions for the SaferMe app by clicking open 'Bluetooth'. It will open the bluetooth permissions of the device directly.
Use the 'Push Notifications' toggle to turn the setting on or off. Push notifications are alerts sent directly to the mobile device from SaferMe.
Use the 'Email Notifications' toggle to turn the setting on or off. Email notifications are email alerts sent directly to the email address registered for log in with SaferMe.
The safety bubble radius by default is 150 metres. If the device's safety bubble comes into contact with any danger or proximity alerts, it will alert the device.
By default the map setting is set to Mapbox. There are two alternative choices here. NZTM2000 and Latitude Longitude.
To log out of the SaferMe mobile app click the 'Log Out' button.
