Escalating a report
- Open the report you would like to escalate. Select Manage.
2. Select the grey section under the State & Assignee heading.
3. Choose the State dropdown and select the status you would like to move the report to. Report statuses are customisable, so your statuses may appear differently from the image above.
4. Choose the Assignee dropdown to send the report to another worker or yourself. Save your changes.
The report will appear in the assignee's Actions tab, and they will be notified.
Closing out / resolving a report
- Open the Actions page.
Reports that are assigned to you will not have a Mark task as complete button.
2. Select View Report. This will open the details of the report as it was completed.
3. If you are an Admin and an investigation section needs to be completed on the report, select the Pencil icon and complete the investigation field.
OR, skip to the next step if no investigation is required.
4. Once the investigation has been completed, select the Manage tab.
5. Select the grey section under the State & Assignee heading.
6. Choose the State dropdown and select the status that represents that the report is closed. States are customisable, so your statuses may be either of the following:
- Resolved
- Closed
- Archived
- No Further Action Required
- Good to Go!
7. Select Save. This will change the status of the report.
8. Select the Timer icon above the grey area to view a history of the status changes, including who changed the state and when.
The state change history will appear on the PDF downloads of reports.
